Agreeing on a “just right” temperature is one of the most contentious issues in the home and workplace. It’s impossible to find a number that suits everyone’s varying body temperatures and comfort levels.
An air-conditioned, icebox of a room is one person’s heaven and another person’s hell. Summer humidity is heating up here at the Jersey Shore and my husband is rejoicing while I’m already sweating. There are even more challenges in workplaces that have women of various ages. It seems the pre-menopausal women are hot-flashing or the post-menopausal women are freezing.
