SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake City has scored a spot on the list of the most influential US cities of 2014.
A group of 68 mayors, 18 of them from cities of at least 30,000 residents, voted on the US cities they believe are the most influential.
According to the list, New York and Boston tied for the most mentions.
They were closely followed by Austin, Denver, Portland, Ore. and Salt Lake City.
Boston University’s Initiative on Cities survey asked the mayors to consider finances, quality of life, education and infrastructure among other topics.
